Located in northwestern Ghana, Mole National Park is the country's largest wildlife sanctuary. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive from Accra or Tamale and check in at the park accommodations. Join a guided walking safari to see elephants and other wildlife on foot, followed by a late afternoon drive to the watering holes to observe animals gathering to drink.
Day 2: Begin the day with an early morning jeep safari for sunrise wildlife viewing and birdwatching. After lunch and a rest, embark on a second safari drive focusing on predators and visit the nearby Larabanga village to meet locals and learn about their culture.
Day 3: On the optional third day, join a final morning walking safari for close encounters with antelopes and primates before departing for Accra or Tamale.
