Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Accra or Takoradi for Beyin. Board a canoe and paddle through mangrove-lined waterways to the stilt village. Enjoy a guided walking tour of Nzulezu, learning about history, culture and daily life. Have lunch with locals and explore craft stalls. Return to Beyin in the afternoon (or overnight in Beyin for multi-day packages).

Getting There: Nzulezu sits on Lake Tadane near Beyin in Ghanaβs Western Region. From Accra, expect a 7β8 hour drive west through Cape Coast and Takoradi. Alternatively, fly from Accra to Takoradi (45 minutes) and then drive 2.5 hours to Beyin. Visitors typically take a 30β45 minute canoe ride through mangrove swamps to reach the village.
